I never considered myself to be a big audiobook listener until I was already DNFing books because I absolutely couldn't stand the narrator and how they portrayed the protagonists. ​I'm fully invested now, though, and like you (probably), I've been disappointed by how Goodreads and most book review platforms never suggest which version of the book would be the best for me.
